The wheel is turning and once again we are in the holy week (Megali Evdomada).
Wintersleep is over and you see everywhere busy people, getting ready for most important Orthodox church holiday…. PASCHA.
Easter always coincides with spring and the awakening of nature, odour, touch caress, regeneration.Year after year it is the same and it is always startling. This week is all tradition: painting of the eggs, making sweets and bread, preparing the last lental dishes, chopping all the greenery for the easter soup (Magiritsa) and finally getting the lamb ready for the spit on Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday ' Kyriaki tou Pascha'
Easter Sunday is spent with the family, singing, dancing, and feasting while enjoying roast lamb and red eggs. The greeting for the day is Christos Anesti "Christ is risen!" and the reply is Alithos Anesti "Yes, He is truly risen!".

Workshops
Rosys little village started the season early this year with the first workshop which is totally in the spirit of Easter ….. LIGHT.
